In my opinion the #1 BEST parenting book ever written. Very dense in material and can be hard to read alone. This book has been the corner stone of Parent Team Book Studies.

Good reference material here for meaningful communication with your children. The ideas are simple, yet effective. Easy read.

A sentimental favorite of mine. This is the book that sparked my passion to spread good solid parenting information. The author has a different perspective on parenting, but does offer some good strategies.

Perhaps one of the finest books for parents with children diagnosed ADHD. Many practical ideas to help with day to day social skills.

Dr. MacKenzie provides understanding and tools to set limits effectively. This book showcases how we as parents are part of "the dance" of non-compliance. The philosophical foundation of Parent Team is that change needs to begin with the parent and then change will naturally extend to the children. Dr. MacKenzie illustrates wonderfully how we, quite unintentionally train our children to be defiant, inattentive and desperately in need of knowing who is in charge.

Excellent source of child development information for parents of toddlers. A must have if you want to understand all the quirky behaviors toddlers exhibit.

Pam Leo offers a parenting approach that involves understanding, meeting needs and connecting with a child. Her premise is that there are no quick fixes here. It is an approach based on non coercive, respectful and loving relationships. It explains in detail why the #1 thing children need the most is us, their parents and our time.

This is a dated two cassette tape set. However, if you can get past the jump suit, Barbara has a lot of good things to say about parents' approaches to their children.

Parents and educational professionals, this is the best book you'll find on Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). I highly recommend parents/teachers read it before finalizing the diagnosis and treatment of a child.

If you are concerned with your child having difficulty learning, take a good, hard look at this book. This book promotes the thought that children who struggle in school are merely right-brained visual learners. This book is a good reference guide to understanding children who are frequently label with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The author argues that indeed these children are gifted, they just learn in a different way.

This machine is necessary for reading all books that are in kindle version. It is amazing. You can download dozens of books onto one machine and carry it everywhere you go. I identify the kindle version of books by highlighting Kindle in red in my review.

This is one of 2 great books on the market for Sensory Integration issues (SI). This book is packed with helpful resources from where to find SI products, to help with IEPs (Individual Education Plans), and on line support groups. This is a well rounded book that is more useful for younger kids' parents but would be an asset for those with older kids as well. Therapists and parents alike have been very impressed with this book.

This book clearly lays out senses, their function and provides examples of normal SI and sensory dysfunction. This book is more technical than "Raising a Sensory Smart Child".
